How it works
No Excel Solver. Enter a campaign budget and a grid of prizes (name, unit price, min qty as the rank floor, max qty as the cap). We never spend over budget. First maximize the number of prizes given (winners), then minimize leftover. Search intent: event prize budget allocator, gift-card quantity combo, marketing budget that actually lands. If the brief says “stay inside ₩500,000 and reach as many people as possible,” you only need unit prices to lock quantities.
- Budget, e.g. ₩500,000.
- Each row: name, price, min, max. “1st AirPods ×1, 2nd chicken ×5” is just min=max on those rows.
- Bounded knapsack: lock the mins, spend the remainder.
- Copy the plan. A bar shows how much of the budget you used. Paste it into Slack, Notion, or an approval note.
Sample: ₩500k, Starbucks ₩5,000 min 10 max 50, chicken ₩20,000 min 5 max 15, AirPods ₩180,000 min=max 1 → 44 + 5 + 1 = 50 winners, leftover ₩0. After mins (₩330k), the remaining ₩170k prefers more coffee because that adds more winners than more chicken. Buying extra chicken can spend a similar amount while reaching fewer people.
Browser-only. Nothing is uploaded. Fold VAT and shipping into the unit price. Very large coprime prices may fall back to a greedy fill. To compare gift-card quantity combos, tweak min/max and watch the leftover bar. Last values stay in this browser so the next campaign is a small edit.
FAQ
Only one first prize?
Set that row’s max equal to min. A fixed rank ratio such as 1 : 5 : 50 is the same idea: min=max on each row.
Leftover will not hit zero?
If the budget is outside the coin problem of the prices, leftover is expected. Round the budget to the gcd of the prices. For a marketing budget that lands cleanly, keep prices on 1,000 or 5,000 steps.
Why not a spreadsheet?
Mins/maxes (rank ratios) plus winner-then-leftover ranking without Solver setup. You get a copyable allocation instead of a solver model.
